ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a new medical use for the phenethanolamine compound 4-hydroxy-.alpha..sup.1 -[[[6-(4-phenylbutoxy)hexyl]amino]methyl]-1,3-benzenedimethanol and physiologically acceptable salts and solvates thereof in the treatment of inflammation, allergy and allergic reaction.
