ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to a method for treating or preventing hemorrhoids, comprising administering to a susceptible animal a 5-hydroxytryptamine.sub.2 (5-HT.sub.2) receptor antagonist at an anti-hemorrhoidally effective therapeutic dose.
