ABSTRACT:
Benzene derivatives of the formula:- ##STR1## wherein R is an aliphatic hydrocarbon group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms optionally substituted by halogen or alkoxy, R.sup.1 is hydrogen or methyl, R.sup.2 is hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, alkanoylamino optionally substituted by cycloalkyl of 3 to 6 carbon atoms, alkoxycarbonylamino, alkanoyl, benzoyl or N-methylmethanesulphonylamino, and Y is primary amino or substituted amino, possess anthelmintic and anti-viral activity. New compounds within that formula possess fungicidal properties.
