ABSTRACT:
Benzene derivative of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R and R.sup.1 each represent an aliphatic hydrocarbon group optionally substituted by halogen or alkoxy, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 each represent hydrogen or methyl, and R.sup.4 represents hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, alkanoylamino optionally substituted by cycloalkyl of 3 to 6 carbon atoms, alkoxycarbonylamino, alkanoyl, benzyl or N-methylmethanesulphonylamino, possess anthelmintic and anti-viral activity. New compounds within that formula also possess fungicidal properties.
