ABSTRACT:
A method for reducing the amount of water-insolubles and free monomer in an aqueous acrylamide polymer gel whereby the gel is heated at from about 80.degree. C to about 150.degree. C for at least about 30 minutes while the water content of the gel is maintained substantially constant.
