A treatment liquid for unfolding detached retina to the chorioid of the eye containing a PFC-mixture whose PFCs are free from C.dbd.C-double bonds and C--H-bonds, with a reduced vapor pressure and a refractive index by virtue of which the PFC/tissue fluid interface is made visible.
