ABSTRACT:
1-(3-Substituted-2-pyridinyl)piperazines and their acid addition salts are selective .alpha..sub.2 -adrenergic receptor antagonists and thereby useful as antidepressant agents and for treating sedation caused by antihypertensive therapy.
