ABSTRACT:
The invention is directed to a transmitted-light illuminating arrangement having a condenser including one or two lenses. A glass sphere is selected as the front lens for the condenser. The illuminating arrangement permits Kohler illuminating conditions to be set and yet has a simple configuration which can be economically produced.
