A power supply voltage required on the basis of information of setting transmission power to be output is supplied, thereby minimizing power consumption. A transmission circuit comprises a driver amplifier3whose gain is controlled by a first control voltage Vc1for setting transmission power and a power amplifier4connected to the post-stage of the power amplifier3. A power supply circuit5to which the first control voltage Vc1is input and whose output voltage is controlled by the first control voltage Vc1is provided. A voltage required for the power amplifier4when outputting the transmission power set by the first control voltage Vc1is supplied from the power supply circuit5.
