ABSTRACT:
A transfer station of a glass-forming machine includes a depositing plate for receiving at least two transversely spaced glass articles, such as bottles or the like, from the glass-forming machine. The depositing plate is mounted on a vertical shaft for turning therewith about the axis of the latter to move the glass articles thereon from a receiving to a transfer position, and the shaft with the plate is movable in vertical direction into the region of a transfer mechanism arranged to transfer the bottles from the plate to a conveyor adjacent to the plate.
