A transfer member of an image forming material for electrophotography, the transfer member including a substrate and an image receiving layer disposed on at least one surface of the substrate. The image receiving layer includes at least a releasing material and has a surface resistivity of 1.0×108to 3.2×1013Ω/□ at 23° C. and 55% RH.
