ABSTRACT:
Method and apparatus for a trachea tube12having an interiorly positioned retaining member14and a flange16forming an exteriorly positioned retaining member. The trachea tube12has means14, 16that permits the tube to be held firmly in the proper position upon a person on whom the device is installed. The tube12maintains the stoma open in case the person moves the trachea tube12.The tube12,when inserted and capped into the trachea20,allows air flow22through the normal anatomical passageway and allows the person to speak and swallow food easier.
