ABSTRACT:
A torque converter1with a lock-up device4is provided to improve damping performance while suppressing an increase in the axial dimension. A torus3of the torque converter1includes an impeller10,a turbine11and stator12.The torus3has a shape such that a radial direction dimension is longer than an axial dimension thereof, and a longitudinal axis t1is inclined away from a straight line P perpendicular to a rotational axis such that a radially outer portion of the longitudinal axis t1is closer toward the engine than a radially inner portion thereof. The torsion springs52are located adjacent on the front cover side of a radially inner portion of the torus3.
