A topsheet10for an absorbent article comprising a first fiber layer1disposed on the side of a wearer and a second fiber layer2disposed on the side of an absorbent member, the first fiber layer1and the second fiber layer2being partially bonded together at joints3in a prescribed pattern, the first fiber layer1having protrusions4on the wearer's side in portions other than the joints3, and the second fiber layer2being a fiber aggregate containing heat shrinkable fiber and having heat shrunken parts5that have shrunken and densified parts6that have been inhibited from heat shrinkage.
