ABSTRACT:
A toner for developing a static image is disclosed. The toner has carboxyl group in an amount of from 0.1×10−5to 2.0×10−5moles/g in a condition that the toner particle is dispersed in water, and an amount of a metal element contained in the toner is from 10 to 5,000 ppm by weight based on the toner.
