ABSTRACT:
In a tone output device100, an oscillator102outputs a clock141that is emitted by a crystal resonator. A multiplication circuit103outputs a clock142that is generated by multiplying the clock141. A timing control circuit104outputs a timing signal150generated based on the clock142for operations of a CPU105. The CPU105operates in sync with the timing signal150. The DA converter115operates in sync with a signal generated based on the clock141. The timing adjustment circuit114detects deviation of the clock142from the clock141resulting from frequency jitter of the clock142, and prevents occurrence of clock racing.
