ABSTRACT:
A toe protector has two guard rails (12) that are to be incorporated into opposite sides of a foot cast or mounted to the sides of an orthopedic shoe. The toe protector also has a pair of front rails (14) whose ends are configured to be releasibly mounted by press fits to adjacent ends (21, 22) of the guard rails that jutt forward of the toes of a foot located within the cast or shoe.
