ABSTRACT:
Tire having two beads, at least one bead1of which has a seat11inclined toward the outside, this seat11being extended axially and radially to the outside by a lateral part12. This bead1includes an anchoring device formed from at least one circumferential bead reinforcing element5and from a wedge-shaped profiled element7made of a rubber compound. A radial carcass reinforcement4is anchored in each bead to the circumferential bead reinforcing element5, this tire being characterized in that the outwardly inclined bead seat11includes at least one circumferentially continuous rib9making at least one complete revolution, said at least one rib9being located axially to the outside of a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the tire and axially tangential to the outside of the circumferential bead reinforcing element5in order to create a continuous line of contact pressure equal to or greater than the inflation pressure of the tire.
