ABSTRACT:
A scale1for weighing moving loads17includes a weighing platform3having an entrance end5and an exit end7. The platform3is pivotal about a transverse axis9between the entrance end5and exit end7. A first limit stop13is engageable to limit downward movement of the entrance end5and a second limit stop15is engageable to limit downward movement of the exit end7. A weighing device11is connected to the platform3and is operable to provide an indication of the weight of a load17supported on the platform3when neither the first limit stop13nor the second limit stop15is engaged.
