ABSTRACT:
A tiled display may be formed on a substrate with a plurality of display elements which may be light emitting or non-light emitting display elements. A driver circuit for the display elements may be integrated into the display proximate to the display elements. In one embodiment, a complementary metal oxide semiconductor integrated circuit may form the driver circuit and may be secured within a recess in the same substrate on which said display elements are formed. The integrated circuit and the display elements may then be interconnected using conventional techniques.
