ABSTRACT:
A locking system is provided for preferably locating ceramic tiles in furnace throats in which locking member engages in a recess in the rear surface of the tiles the other end being attached to part of the throat the head of the locking member and shaping of the recess permitting angling of the locking member in relation to the tile. This permits greater fiexibility in mounting the tiles in the throat.
