ABSTRACT:
A rear entry ski boot formed of an upper having a cuff and a rear spoiler. At least a portion of the upper is journalled on a shell base along a generally transverse axis. The boot further includes a foot retention apparatus within the shell base; and a closure apparatus for closing the upper around the lower leg of the skier. The closure apparatus is connected to the foot retention apparatus by means of a traction circuit.
