ABSTRACT:
A dynamoelectric machine is provided with a tieless bracing means for rigidly supporting the winding end turns thereof in operating position. The tieless bracing arrangement affords axial and radial movement of a compressible annulus while avoiding torsion loading of the annulus support structure. A new method is also disclosed for applying a tieless bracing to a dynamoelectric machine.
