ABSTRACT:
In a tibial component for use with a femoral component for an artificial knee joint, a plate section has, at its upper face, a pair of bearing surface parts which are in sliding contact with the femoral component. A stem extends downwardly from a lower face of the plate section. A pair of blade-like plicae extend obliquely posteriorly from the stem and extend from the lower face of the plate section downwardly.
