ABSTRACT:
Described are thymidine kinase negative temperature resistant mutants of bovine herpesvirus effective in inducing resistance to infectious bovine rhinotracheitis, methods for their production, methods for maintaining them in viable form, and methods for administering them to animals in immunologically effective doses to induce resistance to infectious bovine rhinotracheitis.
