ABSTRACT:
The disclosure describes a method for selectively inhibiting thromboxane biosynthesis with Burimamide, a compound previously known to be a histamine H.sub.2 -receptor blocker. The discovery is useful in the treatment of a number of cardiovascular and inflammatory diseases in which thromboxane biosynthesis is involved.
