ABSTRACT:
The present invention discloses the method of isolation and purification of the bioactive constituents cinnamophilin from Cinnamomum philippinense (Merr.), the same as Machilus acuminatissima (Hayata). Pharmacological evaluation showed that these compounds possess the activity to inhibit platelet aggregation and to produce relaxing effects of aortic vascular constriction.
