ABSTRACT:
Thiophosphine compounds (also named phosphine sulfide compounds) and their use for making polymerizable compositions which after polymerization give optically transparent articles, such as ophthalmic lenses, having improved mechanical and optical properties and in particular having an improved UV cut.
