A thiophenesulfonamide compound having the formula: ##STR1## wherein X is a halogenoalkoxyalkyl group, and Y is ##STR2## wherein A is .dbd.N-- or .dbd.CH--, and each of Z.sub.1 and Z.sub.2 is a methyl group or a methoxy group, and its salt.
