ABSTRACT:
Phosphoric and phosphonic acid derivatives of substituted 4-hydroxyquinolines of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 denotes alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, (di)alkylamino or phenyl, R.sup.2 and R.sup.4 denote alkyl, R.sup.3 denotes H, halogen, carbalkoxy, substituted carbonamido or CN, R.sup.5 denotes H, halogen, NO.sub.2, alkyl, alkoxy or CF.sub.3 and X denotes O or S, are effective insecticides and fungicides.
