The present invention relates to the 3-[N-(2-mercapto-propionyl-amino-acetyl)]-tetrahydro-thiazolyl-4-carboxyli c acid and pharmaceutical compositions containing it, endowed with a marked inhibitory activity of the angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE).
