ABSTRACT:
A pipe of thermosetting resin, characterized in that it comprises a layer of curable thermosetting resin enclosed between a hose-shaped inner foil and a hose-shaped outer foil, which layer in its curable state together with said two foils forms the shape of a flexible foldable hose, in which shape the pipe can be laid in place and subsequently given its final shape and is made shape permanent by curing the thermosetting resin, said layer of curable thermosetting resin being reinforced by a fabric reinforcement braided of thread systems movable relative to each other, which fabric reinforcement owing to the relative movability of the thread systems can be widened and contracted to change the diameter of the pipe in the form of a flexible hose, and said thread systems being interlocked by the thermosetting resin in its cured state.
