ABSTRACT:
In the thermoprotector of the invention, an elastic movable conductor3is placed between stationary electrodes21, 22opposed in an insulation housing1.One end of the elastic movable conductor3is fixed to one stationary electrode21.The elastic movable conductor3is compressed in a longitudinal direction and elastically curved to cause a middle of the elastic movable conductor3to be contacted with the other stationary electrode22.Another end portion of the elastic movable conductor3is face joined by a fusible material4to the one stationary electrode21against a reaction force of the longitudinal direction compression. An insulation spacer5is disposed in the insulation housing1.The insulation spacer forms a space for housing the other end portion of the elastic movable conductor3when the elastic movable conductor3is elastically released by melting of the fusible material4.
