ABSTRACT:
A thermoplastic powder coating composition is provided, comprising particles of polymeric material comprising a mixture of polymer (A) and polymer (B),
polymer (A) and polymer (B) being selected from the group consisting of polymer of an alkyd, polyester, and polyester urethane,
one of either polymer (A) or polymer (B) containing an average of about 0.9-1.1 reactive groups per molecule and the other of polymer (A) or polymer (B) containing an average of 1-10 reactive groups per molecule,
the reactive groups on polymer (A) being coreactive in a condensation reaction with the reactive groups on polymer (B), and
polymer (A) and polymer (B) are compatible.
