ABSTRACT:
A thermally-transferred color filter array element comprising a transparent support having thereon a thermally-transparent image comprising a repeating mosaic pattern of colorants in a receiving layer, one of the colorants being a mixture of a yellow dye and a cyan dye to form a green hue, said yellow dye having the formula: ##STR1## wherein: R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 represents hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or hetaryl; or can be taken together to form a 5- or 6-membered ring; or either or both of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 can be joined to a carbon atom of the aromatic ring to form a 5- or 6-membered ring;
