ABSTRACT:
The tensile strength of a thermoplastic, transparent, aromatic polyester is markedly improved by incorporating into the polyester a thermoplastic, rigid polyurethane. The resultant transparent blend is particularly useful in making eyeglasses, toothbrushes, and screw-driver handles.
