ABSTRACT:
The present invention is directed to a process for coating a substrate containing aramid fibers by coating the substrate with a two-component polyurethane-forming composition which cures to form a tough, flexible polyurethane coating which is capable of withstanding at least 3000 temperature cycles between a temperature of -65.degree. F. and a temperature of 160.degree. F. and back without developing microcracks. The present invention is also directed to the coated substrate produced in accordance with this process.
