A coreless thermal transfer recording web roll10is formed by rolling a thermal transfer recording web10ain a roll. An inner end part11of the thermal transfer recording web10aof the thermal transfer recording web roll10has a tab11aformed at a substantially middle of the inner end part11, and sticking parts11bformed on the opposite sides of the tab11a, respectively. Pseudoadhesive double-coated tapes14are attached to the sticking parts11b, respectively. The pseudoadhesive double-coated tapes become tack-free after the sticking parts11bhave been separated from the innermost layer of the thermal transfer recording web10aof the thermal transfer recording web roll10.
