The thermal-transfer printer includes: a main body frame10; a platen roller20; a thermal head31; a pair of head supporting arms33(head attaching arms32); and a pressing member40for pivoting the head supporting arms33(head attaching arms32) to a side of the platen roller20. The pressing member40includes a first pressing arm41and a second pressing arm42, and a connecting member43having two of a first bending portion43aand a second bending portion43bin an L-lettered shape. The first pressing arm41includes: a recess portion41a; a supporting shaft portion41b; a first notch portion41c; and a drawout preventing portion41d. The second pressing arm42includes: a recess portion42a; a supporting shaft portion42c; and a second notch portion42d.
