ABSTRACT:
A dye-receiving element for receiving a thermally-transferred ionic dye comprising a support having thereon a dye image-receiving layer, wherein the dye image-receiving layer comprises an elastomeric binder with a Tg of less than 25.degree. C. and a polymeric mordant for the ionic dye dispersed in the binder.
