Thermal compensation is provided to a seek mode servo loop of a disk drive having a head and disk assembly including a spindle motor for rotating at least one data storage disk and an electromechanical actuator structure for positioning a data transducer head relative to concentric data tracks defined on a data surface of the data storage disk.
