ABSTRACT:
Concentrated textile treatment compositions suitable for use in the rinse cycle of a textile laundering operation containing from 12.3% to 25% of water-insoluble cationic fabric softener or of a mixture thereof with a water-insoluble nonionic fabric softener in a weight ratio of cationic:nonionic softener of at least 2.5:1, and 0.1% to 3% of an alkoxylated amine, or ammonium derivative thereof, having the general formula I ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is C.sub.8 -C.sub.22 alkyl or alkenyl, R.sub.2 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl or (C.sub.n H.sub.2n O).sub.y H, where n is 2 or 3 and x, y are from 0 to 14 with (x+y) from 2 to 14. The compositions provide fabric softening/static control benefits combined with excellent storage stability and viscosity characteristics.
