ABSTRACT:
Textile treatment compositions comprise a water-insoluble cationic fabric softener and C.sub.12 -C.sub.40 hydrocarbon, optionally together with a water-soluble cationic surfactant. In two component systems, the ratio of cationic softener to hydrocarbon is from 5:1 to 1:3. Preferred hydrocarbon materials have from 14 to 18 carbon atoms and with such materials, highly concentrated fabric softeners can be prepared.
