ABSTRACT:
A tetrahydrofuran derivative of the formula: ##STR1## wherein each of R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 is an alkyl group having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and the two alkoxy groups OR.sub.1 and OR.sub.2 take a cis form to the plane of the tetrahydrofuran ring.
