ABSTRACT:
A tennis racket is provided in which the longitudinal axis of the shaft of the racket forms respective complementary angles of between 40.degree. and 50.degree. with the major axis and the minor axis of the racket head. The head of the racket is oval in shape and the head's geometric center is approximately aligned with the longitudinal axis of the shaft and handle so as to better position the sweet spot of the racket. The racket also includes an apertured rib which extends between the handle and the head.
