ABSTRACT:
A polymer composition of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, G, J, L, x, y, and z are as defined herein is useful as a temporary barrier between reactants in photographic materials. The barrier is particularly useful as a process timing layer in color image transfer film units.
