ABSTRACT:
The inventive temperature sensor10may include a housing having an upper portion18and a lower portion22. Upper portion18may include a cap24and a base26. Cap24and base26may define a fluid passage70which is configured for enhancing the flow of ambient air into the region of a wall60. A hole54may extend into wall60and be sized for receiving a temperature sensor14therein. In that manner, a temperature sensing device58, such as a thermistor, may accurately and precisely measure the temperature of ambient air, while being protected by wall60.
