ABSTRACT:
A temperature sensor10includes a metallic cover5, a thermistor element1accommodated in a front portion5sof the metallic cover5, first and second conductive wires2aand2bextending rearwards of the thermistor element1and transmitting a signal therefrom, a MI cable4in which first and second core wires4aand4bare positioned and having a front end thereof inserted into the metallic cover5, and an insulating holder3situated between the thermistor element1and the front end of the MI cable4in the metallic cover5. The insulating holder3holds the first and second conductive wires2aand2band corresponding first and second core wires4aand4b, respectively. The conductive wires and the corresponding core wires are connected to each other in the insulating holder3. Furthermore, the thermistor element1and the insulating holder3are fixed by means of cement6.
