ABSTRACT:
A television receiving tuner is provided which can smoothly designate a channel number, while preventing an unwanted search based on the channel number wrongly input. In the television receiving tuner, it is determined whether or not a numeric value input into one digit corresponds to any one of a plurality of channel numbers stored in a channel number data28d1in designation of the channel number, based on the numeric value input into the one digit, the numeric value(s) already input into another or other digits, and an inputtable numeric value list28d2. If the value input is determined not to correspond to the channel number stored, a first annunciation image is displayed for announcing an inputting error of the channel number.
