ABSTRACT:
Block copolymers which include polyisobutylene chain moieties of the formula: ##STR1## wherein n is an integer such that the moiety has a molecular weight contribution of from 5,000 to 30,000 Daltons as determined by gel permeation chromatography are obtained by block copolymerization of appropriate compounds of the formula: ##STR2## wherein n is as defined above and X represents hydroxyl, halogen or alkoxy, with polycarbonates, polyesters, polyamides, poly(ester-amides), polyarylates, polyetherimides or monomer precursors thereof. The block copolymers are useful thermoplastic molding compositions.
